NQ Pre-Market Plan | Wed 10/28/2026 | 5:30 AM CST
ICT + Japanese candlestick confirmation only.
Trade the level, not the narrative.
Macro:
NQ holding near 29,920–29,970 after yesterday’s +1.27% close (~29,812 settlement) and overnight push toward 29,990.
NDX closed Tuesday ~29,651 (+1.29%). Higher-timeframe structure remains choppy into the catalyst with lower highs still intact off the early-October ATH area near 31,600; 29,000 zone continues to act as major multi-session support/liquidity draw.
Fed funds futures and prediction markets price ~90–93% odds of a hold today (target remains 3.75–4.00%).
Warsh has pushed back on traditional forward guidance and prefers markets take signals from incoming data—this can produce larger swings than a more telegraphed chair.
A December hike remains the base case.
Oil mixed-to-firm on Iran/Saudi supply headlines (Brent ~$111–115, WTI ~$101–102).
Today (CST)
• 1:00 PM FOMC decision
• 1:30 PM Warsh press conference
• MSFT + GOOGL after close
This week (CST)
• Thu 7:30 AM Q3 GDP + Core PCE
AMZN after close
Expect chop until the statement.
Historically clean tape is rare the day of; binary move more likely after the catalyst.
No new trades until after FOMC.
Yesterday’s runners remain active with stop at 29,730. Large swing possible in either direction once the decision and tone are clear.
Yesterday’s bullish expansion fit the larger-timeframe chop leading into the event and did not surprise.
FOMC Reaction Framework (base case until clear post-statement displacement) :
Hold, neutral tone (most likely): Muted or choppy reaction. S&P roughly flat to modestly higher, yields little changed.
Hold, hawkish tone (real risk): Warsh signals more hikes / insufficient progress on inflation. Selloff expected, high-growth tech and AI names hit hardest (more rate-sensitive given debt-funded expansion). Yields and dollar rise.
Hold, softer tone: Relief rally possible, but recent run-up and still-elevated inflation limit upside.
Surprise hike (<10%): Sharp equity drop, higher yields, stronger dollar.
Warsh’s preference for data over guidance increases the chance of an outsized move once the statement and presser land. Megacap earnings and oil swings remain secondary drivers that can amplify or fade the initial reaction.
ICT Framework
HTF: Still bearish-to-neutral with lower highs intact. 29,000 zone remains the major SSL / multi-bottom support (not a confirmed bottom). Price has probed higher into the 29,775–29,990 area after clearing prior local resistance.
Newfound / local support reference: ~29,775 (yesterday’s close area / potential DOL hold) and prior 29,300.
Structure notes: 15m SMTs observed from NY PM–Asia (resistance side) and Asia–London (support side) as confluence, not standalone signals. Cup-and-handle type development still possible on lower timeframes if post-FOMC acceptance holds. Dealing range reference: recent swing highs near 29,900–30,000 vs. lows around 29,000–29,300. Price currently in the upper portion of the recent range.
Liquidity
• SSL: 29,000 zone (multiple tests / resting sell-side) · 29,300 · 29,775 area
• BSL: 29,900–30,000 overnight highs, then 30,300 / 31,000 extension zones
Time windows: NY AM Killzone 6:00–9:00 AM CT · Cash open 8:30 · Silver Bullet 9:00–10:00.
Priority shifts to post-1:00 PM / post-presser for clean setups.
Model: Power of Three / Judas possible around the open or immediately after the statement. Watching for sweep of either side of the overnight range before directional intent.
Levels of the Day
29,775 (retest / newfound support) · 29,900–30,000 (overnight highs / SMT area) · 29,300 · 29,000 (major SSL)
Bullish — Setup A: Post-FOMC MSS + FVG
After the decision, price shows a bullish market structure shift followed by displacement that leaves a bullish FVG.
5-min close and acceptance higher with clear displacement.
Entry: Pullback into the FVG/IFVG in the OTE (62–79%).
Candle confirm: hammer / pin bar, bullish engulfing, or morning star.
Targets: TP1 30,300 → TP2 31,000.
Invalidation: 5-min close back below the structure shift low or failed hold of 29,775.
Bullish — Setup B: Retest Hold at 29,775 / Yesterday’s Close + IFVG
Price retests near 29,775 and yesterday’s close but holds the newfound support (does not fall under the DOL). Forms a bullish IFVG.
5-min acceptance and displacement higher.
Entry: Pullback into the IFVG in the OTE.
Candle confirm: hammer / pin bar or bullish engulfing.
Targets: TP1 30,300 → TP2 31,000.
Invalidation: 5-min close below 29,775.
Bearish — Setup A: Open Bullish Then Chop + IFVG Failure
Price opens or initially pushes bullish but quickly shows chop and an inverse FVG that confirms as entry.
Displacement leaves a bearish FVG / IFVG.
5-min MSS → BOS to the downside.
Entry: Retest into the FVG/IFVG in the OTE.
Candle confirm: shooting star, bearish engulfing, or evening star.
Targets: TP1 29,775 → TP2 29,500 → TP3 29,300.
Invalidation: 5-min close back above the IFVG high.
Bearish — Setup B: Failure to Hold 29,775 / Yesterday’s Close
Price retests yesterday’s close and the 29,775 level, fails to hold, and confirms the bearish trend.
5-min close back below 29,775 with displacement.
Entry: Right below 29,775 on the retest / into the bearish FVG in the OTE.
Candle confirm: shooting star or bearish engulfing.
Targets: TP1 29,500 → TP2 29,300 → TP3 29,000.
Invalidation: 5-min close back above 29,775.
No Trade If :
Pre-FOMC chop or doji stacking inside the overnight range. Price chopping between key levels (especially 29,775–29,990) with no displacement. No clean setup after the statement and presser. Sitting out is a position. FOMC can create all-day chop before any of the above scenarios resolve. Do not force a trade. Do not get caught in the noise. Sit on hands until a decision is made and clear directional intent is shown.
Risk
FOMC week binary event. Warsh’s data-first style increases swing potential. Reduced size or flat until post-catalyst confirmation. A+ only. No confirmation = no trade. SMT and structure are confluence, not standalone entries. Manage existing runners at 29,730. Do not blow an account on event volatility.

Curious which open model eventually surpasses both Anthropic and OpenAI.
Something tells me a Type I civilization on the Kardashev Scale won’t look like governments deciding which intelligence models people are allowed to use. Our institutions evolved for the industrial age—not the age of superintelligence.
The AI that truly changes civilization won’t just be the most powerful. It’ll be the most trustworthy. The one that makes truth harder to suppress and transparency harder to manipulate. Not built for the gain of a select few, but for humanity as a whole.
We’re still a very primitive civilization. History will probably look back on this era as the beginning, not the destination. Excited to see the destination if powers at be even allow it. If not, we bottleneck ourselves as a species. I’m on the optimistic side but a realist too
If computing continues shrinking toward cell-sized architectures, robotics may stop looking like machines and start looking like organisms.
Humans don’t run on batteries, wires, and cooling systems. We have a bloodstream that distributes energy, regulates temperature, carries information, removes waste, and helps repair damage.
So what happens when robots have billions of distributed AI processors throughout their bodies?
They may need a technological equivalent of blood (a circulating fluid) that transports energy, cools systems, carries signals, and perhaps even enables self-repair.
At some point, the future of robotics may not be about building better machines. It may be about building artificial organisms.
The most advanced robots of the future might have synthetic muscles, artificial veins, self-healing materials, and cell-sized computers woven throughout their entire structure.
The line between technology and biology could become much thinner than most people realize.

Everything a person wants in life exists on the other side of resistance. Most people encounter that resistance—the ‘speed bump’—and stop. Sometimes they try once, fail, and never attempt it again.
Instead, they settle into what’s familiar, even if that familiarity is unfulfilling. Comfort becomes the trap.
The reality is, most won’t push past that point. Not because they can’t—but because they won’t.
But the few who choose discipline over comfort, who keep going when it’s inconvenient, uncertain, and difficult—those are the ones who separate themselves.
Harder paths don’t guarantee success, but they create the conditions for it. And over time, those willing to be shaped, challenged, and refined are the ones who build something greater—and become someone greater in the process.
