"I watch these young and old racers having the talent to resolve conflict through fair competition! AG tech has gone farther than it ever has gotten before, and with our competition, shall rise further towards the future!"
- Leader of Elderwood's AGRC
Ah, but since #Tomos got his own super weapon implemented on his craft, he asked me if I was gonna get one. Weapons aren't really a cheat, but they aren't really my style, honestly... I'd much rather use defensive tools like boosts and shields rather than missiles and cannons
More #Spirit simulators allowed us to get a rundown on the #AetherBase tracks. Looks to be a few corners that dip down onto a mine of some sort... very narrow fit for our craft, and mostly has some straightaways and zig zags that circle back to a large turn
Still, though, some of my teammates are still a bit skeptical on Harcos's intentions... they chose not to participate in #Florana tracks through their events, and all they seem to be aiming for are some eliminator events in their tracks... good thing they got a #Race!
Nothing like taking off on our cruise craft as we leave the city behind to move onward to the #AetherBase race tracks in Harcos! And after the medals we got? Win or lose, we're all guaranteed to qualify for the #Tournament! #AGWLRound2#Elran
Racers like them, who give it their all in the track is all I ever wanted out of this sport... good competition and showing of our true skills through our masterful craft handling. What a way to kick off the #AGWorldLeague!
Staring towards my competitors, they all seemed to carry smiles amongst their faces throughout the race... Looks like #Lumika just might make a comeback as well, taking Bronze... but Belle wasn't even bothered by the thousandth second loss. She seemed as happy as I was
I got to show the whole continent what I was made of with this close lap around the #Florana circuit... and my team couldn't be prouder. When another day like this comes, I want to use these achievements to prove that victories like this do not require violence...
Receiving the gold medal through a close call... up on my home turf, even... I still could hardly believe I have this great award around my neck... for all my hardships and laps around the course of #Florana, for all the days where it seemed like it wouldn't happen...
I didn't know what happened to the rest of the craft, and I didn't care. That might have been singlehandedly one of the most narrow first place wins I ever got in #Florana! Given, if I used weapons, it might have been easier, but this was a lot more fun!
"Hah, that's what Elderwood's about! Got a few drinks with your name on em after this!"
#Tomos congratulated amongst watching the race. I guess he was taking a break from those missions after all.
"You best bet we're getting drunk after this! Wooooo!"
"Hell of a close call, wasn't it, Blaze?"
#TomosBright comes in from the craft speakers, and I comm in to respond
"Phew, you better believe it, man! I sure can't! Wow, that was super tight!"
I was barely nervous to, but as soon as I got to see from the corner of my eye, I was in shock.... once again, upon a thousandths of a second...

The finish line in sight... and I keep a mental count on the feet away as the Siren catches up.... three... two... one...
*Race complete*
My craft echoes as it switches to autopilot and activates automatic shields, and I lean back, giving a few exhales as I stared at the results
But its not over at all, not with this straightaway leading to the lap! I refocus myself and lean over, giving every ounce left of speed I had with that Siren craft beside me. I couldn't even look at the clock at this state, it was too tense for me to!
Open section has her taking a minor step ahead through the straightaway top speed, but I'm not giving up! Upon reaching the corkscrew, I slam on my accelerator as hard as I could, maneuvering my air brakes skillfully around as the Siren struggled barely, I'm almost there!
