Welcome. I am already sick, your threat of KMS, my bodies already doing it. Australian VTuber. Some games, some news, some trips I'm taking from my chair.
Posted my take on the DBD drama yesterday. Since then I've been called a transphobe, a homophobe, and got sent some fun messages.
Over a post saying a streamer getting free characters isn't a big deal.
Not naming anyone. Just showing you what this community does.
Yes, I am sick and Yes I have lupus, and dercums disease, if you see this (THANK YOU FOR THE VIEW ON MY YOUTUBE, that's how you got that information) but in all seriousness, go fuck yourself.
I am not going to bend the knee, I am not going to die to my diseases this day, and now am to keep going just to spite fuckwits like you
But that's it DBD you keep folding, to that mob
after this I and glad I dropped your game
No I will not name and shame the person, I am better than them, but i do want people to see the how fucked this has become

@Johnny_the_Vet and that to me was the whole point, yes some people in his community are toxic, but that's not exclusive to his community. the discourse now proves that. getting new eyes or people in a game were the player base may be dropping, is a net positive
I started playing Dead by Daylight years ago. 1,396 hours. Uninstalled.
I stopped playing because of the player base, and this week is proving exactly why.
Behaviour gave one of the biggest streamers on Twitch every character so he could play the game properly on stream. Behaviour's own statement says unlocking content for creators trying the game is normal. That's promotion. That's new eyes on a game that needs them.
And the community's response? Pile on the streamer, then send threats to the community manager who set it up. Over characters. In a video game.
You want new players, but you attack the biggest streamer to give your game a shot, and you go after the staff who made it happen. Then you wonder why nobody new sticks around.
I loved this game. I put nearly 1,400 hours into it. But this is why I left, and honestly, watching this, I'm glad I did.
It's a game. Get over it.

This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.
The funny thing is I played this game long before peanut or his community even got their hands on it, and slurs used to fly left, right and centre, at the end of the game. When ppl lose they rage, you know like they are now
1,500 walls into the haunted house and maze for my theme park. Realised the measurements were off. Pulled the lot down.
Round two: proper plan, two floors, haunted house in the middle, and the rest the park in the other zones.
Yes, I could try and spam bud tickets, but in here for long haul.
YouTube series on the build coming.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.
