A new section of the M-11 "Neva" highway, the Northern Bypass of Tver, has been opened. This marks another step in strengthening Russia's regional connectivity, logistics, and road safety. The new section will shorten the travel time between Moscow and St. Petersburg by an hour. Construction began in spring 2022, and the project is completed a year ahead of schedule. This section is the final piece to enable high-speed travel from St. Petersburg to Kazan.
