When I was in the Navy, towards the end of my career I worked in the communications and intelligence office. I was read into, accessed and maintained SCI materials - the rigor around securing and maintaining them is pretty thorough.

@dscchipman In any case - I believe the FBI and the DOJ because they have provided rational reasons and arguments for their actions, they have provided credible and verifiable proof - the fmr administration has not provided anything that disputes their claims.

@dscchipman How much actual direct interaction have you had with the FBI? Because I wouldn't describe them as a tool of any political party - in fact I would hypothesize most of the FBI, like most LEO is conservative / right leaning.

@dscchipman So there is a lot to unpack here - but not sure how the Dossier and the Clinton Email server has to do with the the Former president stealing and then mishandling SCI documents. Can you elaborate?

@dscchipman We can't ignore the fact he had the documents, out of the SCIF. He had no legitimate or legal reason to retain them. The archives knew what docs he had - they lied and said they returned them. Then him and his team willfully made an effort to move and hide them.

@dscchipman So at what point do you say okay, we gotta get those docs back - because that information cannot be stored the way they were. Even if the fmr president himself didn't intend on sharing them - who knows who else could have accessed them,

@dscchipman and now we can start to link confirmed deaths of possible informants back to this information and his administration. For whatever reason, he's sold out our spies and done sever damage to the country's intelligence capabilities.
