I built a dashboard that scrapes and aggregates data to help identify potential Rule 5 candidates. Track eligibility, AAA advanced metrics, org rankings & more - all in one place.

Mightโve went unnoticed but Tarik Skubal just set the all-time record for K/9 in a single Postseason (min 15 IP):
1. ๐๐ค๐ฎ๐๐๐ฅ (๐๐๐๐) - ๐๐.๐๐ ๐ฅ
2. Gerrit Cole (2020) - 14.72
3. Chris Sale (2018) - 14.09
4. Walker Buehler (2020) - 14.04
5. Andrew Miller (2016) - 13.97
Sean Manaeaโs 2025 was the continuation of his mid-2024 revamp: lower arm slot, simplified mix, more strikes. Promising stuff, but think another pitch could go a long way. #LGM
Big thank you to @ProspectSavant for allowing me to utilize some of the amazing work they are producing (ProspectScores & advanced StatCast metrics) within the dashboard

More interesting #StanleyCup statistics. Calculated average shift length across the playoffs for both the #Oilers and #Panthers . Very clear difference in approach
LHP Kash Mayfield was also who I picked as the big piece in a #Padres Luis Robert trade. 2B/SS Cobb Hightower is the most exciting name in this group in my opinion, second best bat in the Padres system. This type of return for Robert, currently, seems wildly optimistic though.
Luis Robert is looking much better since taking a few days off. The swing and miss is still prevalent, but he is at least back to being productive again. Let his value keep rising. Since the break:
Chase Meidroth is the White Sox's future at shortstop.
Already a top 5 defensive SS in MLB:
- T5 in SS OAA (4)
- 16.9 Fangraph DEF/per 162 pace - would be highest for a Sox SS since Alexei Ramirez in 2011
Current 5.7 WAR/per 162 pace - would be the best by a Sox SS since 1964
Well, well, well. Apparently the Sox staff and I are on the same page. Biggest change in Luis Robert's swing his first game back? My #1 suggested mechanical fix, closing his stance ๐
Excited to be featured in a great day of White Sox news on a great podcast. Go check it out to hear my fixes for Andrew Vaughn (42:00 mark) @SoxMachine

Fun Fact: The Phillies just became the worst defensive team to make the playoffs since Baseball Savant started tracking outs above average in 2016. Their -37 OAA in 2022 is the 7th worst among all teams since 2016.
Thanks to the lockout Iโve been looking at data for 2021 American League hitters. Decided to see if there was a correlation between weight/height and offensive WAR generated per game. Some interesting results.
Continuing this thought:
Unfortunately for Gallo, he plays in the AL East. The division that leads all of MLB in runs prevented by the shift. Highlighted by the Rays who are head and shoulders above every other team.
Some Context:
The shift is getting much more effective. There was a 1187% increase in the amount of runs prevented by the shift in 2010 vs 2021.
2021 saw a new league record with 502 rTS, with the Tigers also setting a single season record with 47.

Weโve started experimenting with mechanical analysis using Human Pose Examination with the help of @BledsoeNick. Looking forward to seeing how this can help us improve going forward!
