@jprutherford Ott seems like a very smart individual. He could have put himself out there and potentially gotten an NHL job right now. But if it went bad, who knows if he'd ever get the chance again.

Smart move to stay in the AHL, hone his craft, and then make the jump in 2-3-4 years.
