@Lithmariel Yeah, as magic gets more and more accessible each day thanks to the internet, it really is on each person to make sure they've got their magical defenses up to date.
If you hope that someone gets punched, and know that hoping for it will magically cause it to happen, does your wish carry the same moral weight as you punching them? Or are you less responsible because it's much harder to control thoughts and feelings than actions?
@Lithmariel@NepsisVT@utainsy Honestly copyright lasts way too long. It was originally meant to last 14 to 28 years to keep vultures from just copy/pasting your work before you can monetize it. Now it's 70 years after the death of the author, that is an insane amount of time to own something that's not real.
@TheCartoonBase This is why despite Mario's obvious crush on Peach, he's completely ok with only getting a baked good or a chaste kiss on the cheek. He doesn't expect her to reciprocate his feelings, being her knight is good enough for him. The relationship is exactly where both of them want it.
@TheCartoonBase This is a trope that became popular in medieval romance novels that have a focus on chivalry, and so the relationship rarely goes past just kind of longingly making doe eyes at each other from a distance, which is how both partners typically intended to keep it.
@jimmyman@mistajonz My personal theory is that Morphing literally morphs every ranger's whole body every time, we just can't usually tell because it tends to be internal changes. But just look at Justin's morph sequence from Turbo:
