This seems like good news for Kentucky and America 🇺🇸 Thune needs to be next!!
Do you understand what quietly happened in Kentucky tonight..
Mitch McConnell spent 41 years building the most powerful Republican machine in the Senate..
he blocked nominees.. killed legislation.. outlasted six presidents.. and bent the entire GOP caucus to his will for four decades..
and the moment he stepped back..
Trump walked in on May 1st.. endorsed Andy Barr.. offered the only real rival an ambassadorship.. and the rival dropped out the same week..
> Cameron — the man who was supposed to carry McConnell's network forward — entered with a polling lead.. raised money.. had the name recognition.. had the Christian conservative base..
> Barr had none of that early.. until Trump made one phone call and one diplomatic offer..
> Cameron finished at 30%.. Barr won with 60%..
> the seat McConnell held since 1984 flipped to a Trump loyalist in a single primary night..
> the first open Kentucky Senate seat in 42 years.. decided by an endorsement and an ambassadorship..
every single establishment figure watching this tonight told their donors "the McConnell network is durable".. every single one assumed the old machine had enough infrastructure to survive his retirement..
it didn't survive a single election cycle..
not a scandal.. not a Democrat.. not a generational shift..
one endorsement.. one ambassadorship offer.. and 41 years of political infrastructure collapsed in an evening..
the quiet part nobody is saying out loud.. Trump didn't just win a primary tonight.. he erased the last internal friction point inside the Senate Republican caucus without a single floor vote..
Last ones at the polls tonight! I shared a few flags! 🇺🇲 The original #FlyTheFlag

Congratulations to a great run campaign @AleksForMesa@JamesRogersAZ its been a privilege to serve alongside you sharing your vision with our district.
This is one of the biggest primary wins in modern Arizona history-- one of the biggest Governor Primary wins in this election cycle.
GO BIGGS OR GO HOME!
So proud of our ENTIRE @TPAction team who has been working so hard with our voters.
Now the work begins. We must win in November.
@elonmusk@america The majority of states are still refusing to turn over the data from their voter rolls. Once DHS gets access, the number of registered illegal voters will be in the millions if there are 250,000+ in just 4 states that we know of so far.
I'm still amazed that the anti tariff people, including the scotus, gave Trump the weapon to impose long lasting tariffs that will be almost impossible for the anti tariff people to roll back, politically speaking.
All they had to do was accept the results of the election, allow Trump's trade policy of a global tariff to be implemented for his 4 years in office and if they were correct and it led to a crashing economy then change them in 2029.
That's it.
Instead, they fought him tooth and nail to defeat his liberation day tariffs and by doing so allowed him time to implement his real trade policies out of the media's spotlight.
After the scotus ruled against the IEEPA tariffs, the anti tariff people declared victroy and from all appearances abandoned the fight.
Meanwhile, immediately following the ruling Trump imposed basically the same worldwide tariff scheme of 10% using section 122 of the 1974 law (strange we havent heard about that endlessly from the media over the last 5 months)and started the longer process to impose the much tougher section 301 duties.
Now the section 122 tariffs are set to expire Friday and the section 301 tariffs are lock and loaded to replace them as soon as they do.
The 301 tariffs are a much tougher animal to defeat. The cause they cite for the tariffs is forced labor issues.
The USTR has proposed tariffs on more than 60 countries that covers about 99% of our trade. In other words, the new stronger tariffs will be about a 12.5% worldwide tariff as far as the US is concerned.
This is higher than the current 10% tariff.
Going forward, I can't wait for the anti tariff people to try to repeal these tariffs and admit they want slave labor and to sell that argument politically.
This whole saga is shaping up to be yet another epic backfire by the TDS group.
