Yes, we built 2 blocks at Masibinta in Matabeleland North. We took that school from 0% pass rate to 42% pass rate in 2 years by just providing decent learning spaces and books. We wanted to do the same at Gwelutshena but Minister Sthembiso Nyoni stopped us.

Last night, I had the privilege of engaging with fellow Zimbabweans in Manchester in a powerful and inspiring conversation about the future of our nation. The passion, patriotism, and determination in the room were unmistakable.

🔸It’s not the industry standard for a national airline to have one aircraft on a single route and for that one aircraft to be on a wet lease. What functional jurisdiction does that? Stop trying to pull the wool over our eyes. If Air Zimbabwe was working as it once did and as it should, its success would speak for itself.

All this huffing and puffing reminds us of when they introduced bond notes and we protested only to be told we weren’t economists. Utter nonsense.

HAD A WONDERFUL EVENING at Westminster Abbey in London, where we held a series of roundtable discussions with Zimbabweans from all walks of life…academics, professionals, entrepreneurs, young people, women', media practitioners, and students.
The conversations were open, thoughtful, and enriching. It was an opportunity to listen, exchange ideas, share perspectives, and collectively reflect on the vision, policies, and institutions needed to build a more prosperous, inclusive, and CITIZENOCRACTIC Zimbabwe.
My sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to participate and contribute. Your insights, passion, and commitment to Zimbabwe's future are invaluable. Together, we can turn our shared aspirations into practical steps to achieve a proud and prosperous New Great Zimbabwe. A citizens government in our lifetime is our task and duty. 🔸How do you expect kuti tipembere chinhu changa chiripo in better form in the 80s? It’s like relaunching ZUPCO buses with tickets, route timetables and bus stops then saying it’s a grand milestone. Zvanga zviripo izvi vaparadzi vasati vauraya zvese. Let’s not be bamboozled by their immense capacity for low standards. Kubva matoita mabiko nekaone route ikako? Worse still kuita ndege yekuroja? Having a functional national airline in 2026 should be as normal as breathing air. This ain’t it.

🔸Air Zimbabwe inherited an airline that had 50 flights a week to Bulawayo in 1980. An air ticket cost $22,40 return. At the weekend, the flight cost $9 each way. This was in local currency.

And where are we now? Celebrating a wet lease? One second-hand plane? Come on. We are bigger than this nonsense of celebrating mediocrity.

In 1982, a Zimbabwean teacher earned the equivalent of about US$1,500 a month, enough to secure a mortgage for a middle-class home in Avondale, Hillside or Murambi — and buy a modest car.

In 2026, a teacher receives just US$320 a month in hard currency, with the balance paid in ZiG. It is not enough to comfortably cover food, rent and transport.

Thanks to ZANU-PF — teachers went from middle class to hand-to-mouth living.

REFUSING THE TEMPTATION TO RULE…Then the Israelites said to Gideon, “Rule over us—you and your son and grandson—for you have saved us from the hand of Midian.” But Gideon replied, “I will not rule over you, nor will my son. The LORD shall rule over you.” Judges 8:22-23

Gideon answered correctly. In essence, they wanted Gideon to be king over Israel; however the time predicted by Moses that the king would, in fact, rule over Israel was not yet come ( Deut 17: 14-15)

Gideon proved himself firm in fidelity to God. Here lay the secret of his resistance. It is better to be a servant and faithful to God than a king and in rebellion against Him.

A man is at his best when he overcomes a great temptation, when he shows the might of magnanimity and humility, and conquers himself. Gideon now reaches the climax of goodness, which is true greatness.

7 KEY LEADERSHIP LESSONS FROM GIDEON..
1. Resist the temptation to hurriedly accept, prolong or extend your dance in leadership. The voice of the few people not always the voice of God. But the voice of conscience directed by the WORD and enlightened by the Holy Spirit is the voice of God. Listen to that voice.

2. Gideon's self-denial. The noblest act is to refuse to.substitute God. You must decrease so that He increases.

3. Gideon's refusal to become king underscores that God is the ultimate ruler. Believers are reminded to submit to God's authority in all areas of life.

4. While human leaders are necessary, they should always point people back to God, acknowledging His supreme authority.

5. Gideon's response warns against personality cults-the idolatry of human leadership, where people place their trust in human beings rather than God.

6. Leaders in nations, church and community should emulate Gideon's initial humility and recognition of God's rule, ensuring their leadership aligns with God's will.

7. Gideon's statement reflects a desire for his legacy to be one of faithfulness to God, #Godisinit a challenge for believers to consider the spiritual legacy they are leaving.

Dear Africans. I know you think we are cowards. You think we have allowed Mnangagwa to rule with impunity. This is is what we face. We have been facing this for the past 45 years. The problem is, we have been doing it peacefully but met with live bullets. SADC & AU are OK with us being killed.

A time will come when we are going to pick matchets and guns and chop each other like what happened in Rwanda. SADC and AU will condemn us as barbarians.

Millions of us have left our country not because we desire to be in your countries. We cannot live under this perpetual suffocation. Now we see that South Africans are tired of us. We don't want to be in your countries. We want to be in Zimbabwe.

We have asked your presidents to restrain this rabid junta led by Mnangagwa but none of them has tried. We tried elections and we all saw what happened. We are at the end of out wits. and about to snap.

If any of you can convince your governments to give us guns and a forest, you will see that we are not cowards.

Such posturing is unfortunate. Just come up with a Fund and pay for your people who find themselves in emergency situations. That’s how you solve problems. You can’t force the hand of medical facilities; they’ll just give the patients water and paracetamol for those 48hrs. Do you honestly think a medical Doctor is going to drive 20kms to a facility for unpaid work simply because you have enacted a law? A law that does not meet the legitimate expectations of the people it governs will always be undermined. But then, what can we expect from these headline chasers. Propaganda does not run a country.
