You are actually not representing Akwa Ibom Man by what you said. You just gave credence to the stereotype bandied around that akwa ibom men are promiscuous. There is nothing like traditional Akwa Ibom men and Neo- akwa ibom men. Every tribe has men that womanize and do all sort of things not only Akwa Ibomites. It’s wrong to accept or suggest that because one or two persons stole in a community then the entire community is that way. If I should borrow your terms, there are a lot of “traditional akwa ibom men who behave way more responsible than your “neo-akwa Ibom men. Simply put, the behavior of a handful of people does not translate to that of the entire community

John Obot, a teacher in Akwa Ibom State this afternoon reached his 145hour mark in his quest to set a new @GWR for longest marathon reading aloud.

John had surpassed the current record which stands at 124hours as at yesterday!

He will continue to read till 10:00pm tonight. The extra hours is to show the world that Akwa Ibomites don’t crack.
