What she gave to the students during her administration left a lasting impact that is to be commended, admired, and respected. Her loss will be felt throughout our community.

Our organization was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Dr. Wendy Robinson. Her influence was vital to the implementation of Blessings in a Backpack in Fort Wayne Community Schools.
Every Friday throughout the school year, children attending schools with the Blessings in a Backpack program will receive a bag of nutritious food to last them throughout the weekend.
Over 98,000 bags of food to kids in Fort Wayne Community Schools every school year.
Over 70% of children in FWCS struggle with food insecurity. Without meeting their basic needs, we cannot expect them to perform in the classroom.
