@MiTresSentimos a lot of middle class people still fawn at the concept of getting rich themselves, which is why they can’t find it in themselves to be angry at rich people because deep down they also want to be rich. the prosperity gospel works so well on this group of ppl for that reason
exactly that's the term that one user is calling out but the qrts are like "uh-oh the one-liner review police is here" "there's no minimum number of words" "this is not a peer-reviewed article" etc. they all completely missed the point haha.
i really couldn't care less if op liked the movie or not. ang puna ko rito ay ang misogynistic ng review na 'to. sa ganitong konteksto ba dapat ginagamit yung salitang "pekpek"???

in a truly civilized society ramon ang is rotting in jail and san miguel corp is penalized for its crimes against climate, wildlife, and the environment. shame.
sorry di ko ma-take na nakahilera 'tong babygirl sa piano teacher at secretary eh ang pangit pangit, sayang casting kay nicole kidman. saka iba rin naman nuance nilang tatlo...
Crucify me or whatever but I think THE PIANO TEACHER, SECRETARY, and BABYGIRL make for a great trilogy. Not because they're "about kink" (they aren't) but because of how they all depict women navigating shame's role in sex, especially when shame is also a byproduct of abuse.
