@BenLindbergh reduce MLB roster sizes. Fewer roster spots means less specialization. Ohtani-ize the game. Encourage two way players. Embrace positionless sports. It solves everything from pace of game to shifts to too many strikeouts.

@sinow legislating where a player stands might as well just be conceding the sport is over. Much simpler solution- reduce roster sizes. Push back against specialization and the game will fix itself. Tinkering with tactics is failure in itself.
