Also, if I mute Voiceover, but don't turn it off completely, I can still use my Braille display, which might actually make doing things while stream easier and less overstimulating, because I can just read things instead of having VO plus anything I'm reacting too playing at the same time.

Here's a use for my Braille display I never thought of until today... when your earbuds somehow disconnect themselves from your Mac, so after making sure VoiceOver is on, I was able to go through the process of reconnecting them through the Braille display.
