Blino currently make Pi-Naps, an accessible way to interface with EEG via the Raspberry Pi. We are looking to put the power of your biometric data in your hands
We're very much looking forward to sharing all the details of how we built one of our favourite projects so far.
Mind Controlled #Synth
NB. We didn't actually *make* the synth itself...
Don't forget if you are working with Teensy3.2 and our Tee-Naps board you will need to cut trace between the VIN/VUSB. Don't worry though - It's very simple and common practise for Teensy

Our latest update has resulted in a substantial performance gain. Now, the readEEGSensor function returns a buffer that the Parser can handle.
For convenience, the parser can work on either a buffer or a single byte at a time.

Our update is out! We will be updating https://t.co/EmaOkOzjNI to reflect it this week.
Raspberry Pi zero can now operate at full rate in UART mode thanks optimisation tweaks.

We're currently making some changes to the Pi-naps Python library; sharing some core code between that and Tee-naps and making some significant performance updates.
This will mean our tutorial pages will go temporarily out of date, though we'll get straight to fixing that!

Wonder what data you can get from our current devices?

For example: Raw EEG is represented by 16bit signed integer values. They are output 512 times per second (approx. every 2ms).
Due to interference with some of the higher connectors, when using some of the bigger RaspberryPi units, it will be neccessary to extend the headers.
The through hole header on Pi-Naps_v0.2 was chosen to allow for versatile, compact designs for Pi Zero.

We are keen to see sharing of case designs and would love to see some being made avaliable with liberal licenses.
There's a discount for anyone sharing there designs for sure!
