🚨 CLARIFICATION REGARDING MAMA VOTING CERTIFICATES

A warning has been circulating among some fandoms claiming that publicly sharing Mnet Plus voting certificates with the certificate numbers visible could result in votes being invalidated. At this time, we have found NO official evidence from Mnet Plus supporting this claim.

In fact, a group from the yellow company is currently hosting an official MAMA voting event on Weverse that specifically encourages fans to publicly share their voting certificates.

We privately contacted the SKZ fanbase circulating this warning to request an official source so we could verify the information. They confirmed that they were simply passing along a warning shared by other fandoms and could not provide any official documentation. We find this concerning, particularly when the claim could discourage fans from sharing legitimate voting proofs.

❓ WHAT HAS MAMA OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED?
MAMA has issued an official notice confirming that they continuously monitor voting data to ensure fairness and have detected attempts to vote using abnormal methods.

The notice states: "Voting data confirmed to have deviated from the proper voting procedure will be excluded from the final tally."

MAMA also confirmed that voting data from Mnet Plus and social media will be independently verified by Samil PwC, an external professional firm. However, nowhere in this announcement does MAMA state that publicly sharing voting certificate numbers is considered an abnormal voting method or grounds for immediate invalidation.

There is an important distinction between votes being excluded for violating voting procedures and legitimate votes being invalidated simply because their certificates were shared publicly. While MAMA clearly monitors voting activity and may investigate suspected manipulation, we have found no evidence that someone can invalidate another person's legitimate vote simply by obtaining or reporting their certificate number.

We can see how if an account is sharing 20+ voting certificates a day and they are reported to MNET by another fandom like some are doing, that would alert MNET to look into the accounts based on the certificate numbers but a single STAY posting 2-3 a day is very very unlikely. It's reasonable to believe that someone has a few devices available to them to use to vote with daily.

❓MNET ITSELF PROVIDES DOWNLOADABLE VOTING CERTIFICATES
Mnet Plus provides users with the option to download and save their voting certificates, including their certificate numbers. These certificates can then be used as proof of voting participation.

While the ability to download a certificate does not automatically establish that public sharing is risk-free, it raises an important question: If publicly displaying these certificate numbers could compromise legitimate votes, where has Mnet Plus warned users about that risk and why allow the option in the first place?

This is particularly relevant when an official artist community is actively encouraging fans to publicly share those same certificates for a MAMA voting event. Until Mnet Plus provides guidance stating otherwise, we have no verified basis for claiming that sharing a legitimate voting certificate can cause the associated vote to be invalidated.

❓WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR STAYs?
Based on the information currently available, we have no reason to believe that STAYs sharing a few legitimate voting certificates publicly are putting their votes at risk of invalidation.

We encourage everyone to continue following Mnet Plus voting rules. You may also watermark your certificates to prevent others from misusing your proofs in giveaways or verification events.

We are consulting other SKZ voting fanbases and will update STAYs if additional credible information becomes available.

We understand that fanbases want to protect their fandom's votes, and we respect those intentions. However, warnings released by fanbases that could affect voting participation should be supported by verifiable information before being presented as fact.

Please do not panic or spread unverified claims.
