I’m sorry but I cannot bite my tongue any longer. I’m angry, I’m frustrated, I’m trying to understand.

I think the thing I hate most about the republicans party is

All their social beliefs are rooted in hatred

All their economic beliefs are rooted in ignorance

And they’ll never just admit that. They hate LGBT, they hate non-white individuals, many hate women. They vote “for cheaper groceries” because they’re privileged and don’t care about anything or anyone else except whatever marginal gain they perceive THEY can gain at anyone else’s expense.

Trump won’t lower the cost of anything, he literally can’t. Gas and groceries were only cheap under his administration because of a global pandemic handicapping demand.
The economy at a macro-level under Biden prospered. My 401k averaged 25% this year, unheard of.
Groceries are expensive because of price gouging and housing is expensive because of parasites landlords. Not Biden.

Above all, however, what pisses me for is how completely incapable they will ever be of growing and/or admitting they were wrong. I’m not saying Kamala was a perfect option, but no matter how horrible Trump is, his supports will NEVER admit he is any less than perfect.

I just don’t really know where we go from here. I’ve lost a lot of faith in this country. I feel ive given up on trying to make people “see the light”. I want to believe we live in a world constantly edging towards improvement, however slow, but this just feels like such a monumental and permanent backpedal I’m having trouble comprehending that people can even be this dense and uncaring.

It’s a cult of mongrels who care more about “funny offensive blunt jokes” and “keeping a women out of that White House” than about human rights.

Where do we go from here… I don’t know.

Yes. A Fandom comprised of mostly gay men, "trans women", and actual trans women is obviously very transphobic... makes sense.

Let's look at the sexist claim. The amount of post regarding actual sexism in the Fandom is low. Most of the post labeled "sexist" are either obvious troll attempts, out of context/misinterpreted statements, or people making direct observations (i.e the "drama" a few months ago where it seems as if many female furs just randomly popped into existence, then dissapeared again).

Let's look at the "racist" claim now. Most of the actual racism I've noticed comes from people targeting non leftist, non white people who don't want time-lines filled with porn. You can't even call the people using certain slurs racist anymore because, let's face it. They're mostly just used to piss off people like you, and that's it.

I'm a half black trans male (meaning, I'm biologically a woman) who is a furry, and the people in the Fandom who send me death threats, intentionally call me a "chick" to get a rise out of me, and unironically say shit like "your black card has been removed" are the same people saying shit like your post. The issue isn't "transphobia". It's the people using being trans as a shield against criticism. Same with the "sexism". The issue isn't "racism". It's people getting offended for others, as well as people being overtly sensitive just to appear to have the moral high ground

I'm a bit too detached from the Fandom to recognize or witness this behavior.

What I do see is pockets of genuinely solid people who are mostly dismissive of outsiders, making it tough for individuals to integrate into a pre-established greater whole.

That's not reflective of the entirety of the Fandom, but the majority of the comprising parts. As a whole, there are almost tenants that all furries follow and that's to respect everyone regardless of their identity or beliefs, and if you feel as though that's not the case in public convention/charity/furmeet scenarios, then find me, I'll give em a good stomp for you.

That's absolutely not the environment we try to curate, and that's completely counter to the objective all organizers, staff, and volunteers hold as strong values.
This might be your experiences online, but I personally don't exist as successfully online as I do in reality, and I'm certain you're only seeing the worst side of people when they are mindlessly existing in this cyberspace.

I care, and you're valid, you know that, and I'm not going to stand to hear notions of devicivness flourish.
