@CarOnPolymarket How does no one understand that cash is a thing. Aka the money you use to pay for everything. Wtf where does it go? Into cash bruh. It’s not a fucking mystery
It’s actually a completely ridiculous idea framed to give cope to investors down over 50% on a useless asset that has gotten run over by AI investment. Even when the AI rotation/profit taking/unwind whatever you want to call it happens. Bitcoin is the last place for that money to go.
@DavidFischer@grok Take the math out of the math and craft a response that fits my very limited constraints so that Grok gives me the answer I want. How about ask Grok the probability that Jesus died and then rose from the grave? And if someone actually believes that happened are they not insane?
Its a valid concept. But, you're missing the bigger picture. Cap Ex across all of these projects is in the Trillions. Solving individual math problems for 10k, 100k, or even 1M per problem if that were the case is meaningless. All of this is still training to produce the intelligence that will underpin the future global economy . I remember watching a video 15 years ago of a robot trying to fold a shirt because it was an interesting real world problem that involved manipulating a loose form object in three dimensions with interesting boundary conditions to solve and various intial starting states of how the tshirt is just laying there bunched up. humans are very good at folding t shirts. The cost to fold that t shirt by the robot when you add up everything that went into it was over $100M. You follow me? Now we have much better robots. Same will follow with AI.
This has existed for a decade. Lookup Augur. This was an early Eth decentralized app that existed pre 2020. It ultimately fell apart. I think the founder may have recently tried to piggyback on some of this prediction market hype . Conceptually it’s always been one of the most interesting use cases to me. If you search around you can find an interesting article about how Vitalik used the protocol to arb the system be of the elections.
@moepro@tropicalupdate The cone isn't shifting west. As it moves forward in time it gets smaller with respect to where the eye will pass. Like in tampa. Yesterday on the edge of the cone. Now east of cone because the cone is smaller for that time period. Track has shifted very little.
@tropicalupdate For anybody up late monitoring, just noticed what appeared to be a gravity wave on the color IR satellite loop on tropicaltidbits? Intense storm burst near center of circulation and what looked like a gravity wave propagate out along the tropopause. Anybody else see it?
@ReedTimmerUSA DM me. I'm a Penn State meteorology grad. Class of '99. Live in New Port Richey, Fl. Stop by and take a break before the big push in the bend if you're chasing the hurricane north of Tampa
