Working with local HVAC companies you should understand how a business needs to charge their labor (especially on a non-recurring customer). IDK where you live but in LA labor bills out at at least $120/hr. He's gotta get your battery, get there and yeah, on site it's 20 minutes work but he's spent 2.5 hours on the call. Guys charging $350 have no margin and are working for poverty wage. They'll be out of business or just quit eventually. I own a large HVAC company and what you're doing here we see daily. "But it's only a $20 part... how can you charge me $250 for that???"
