@nut3case Where you based

[Jack Routledge @BlockJackR]

@ChengKwenik @nut3case I’ve recruited for quant firms only a small % use Ocaml Jane Street being the main one, the rest want C++ unless your crypto trading then Go/Rust is the preference :)

[Jack Routledge @BlockJackR]

@TimMeggs This is absolutely right! When you think of high-frequency trading you naturally assume it’s all about speed executing orders but as you mentioned cancelling orders is equally important.

Hiring for a NYC team incubating new trading products on top of one of the fastest Layer 1s in the market.

They’re building a next-gen perp exchange + high-performance trading systems and want:

• Trading Engineers (HFT / low-latency Web3)
• Quant Traders (derivs, systematic, microstructure)

Small senior team. Greenfield builds. Big impact. Top comp.

If you’re a quant or engineer exploring what’s next then DM me

[Jack Routledge @BlockJackR]

Perp DEX engineering is exploding right now. One of the fastest growing areas in all of crypto and the demand for low latency, CLOB-ready, quant-minded builders has never been higher.

I’m hiring senior engineers for a NY-based team building a next-gen perp exchange with a tiny high-impact team. Rust, Go, systems, infra, backend, execution engines.

If you’ve gone from Web2 or HFT → Web3 engineering, this is your arena.

DM me.

[Jack Routledge @BlockJackR]

NYC team scaling fast. Hiring up to 10 senior engineers across Go, React, and Solidity.

Backend Go, Full Stack Go/React, or Go + Solidity devs — this is for builders who want to ship fast and touch every part of the stack.

DM me for details.

Ethereum’s Fusaka upgrade went live this week.
PeerDAS cuts data bandwidth by ~85 percent, L2 fees drop, and the block gas limit jumps to 60 million. A real step up for throughput on L1.

For teams hiring across crypto this pushes demand toward protocol, systems and performance engineers rather than pure contract developers.

The big question remains. As Ethereum scales at the base layer can Solana keep pace

[Jack Routledge @BlockJackR]

Crypto is getting the TradFi treatment.

Sept: TP ICAP’s Fusion Digital Assets hits $1B monthly volume for the first time.
This week: Kraken + Deutsche Börse announce a partnership to bridge traditional and digital markets across crypto, FX, and derivatives.
Non‑custodial venues. Regulated execution. Bank‑grade custody.

“Crypto vs TradFi” is dead. Integration won.

[Jack Routledge @BlockJackR]

I didn’t fall into recruitment. I chose it.

After years in demanding trading tech roles, I realised the biggest advantage any team has is its people.

Now I help top engineers and ambitious crypto + trading companies connect and grow together.

If you’re building or looking, let’s talk.

Web3 finally feels buildable again. Not long ago you needed wallets + storage + identity + DeFi + onboarding hacks just to launch an MVP. Now ecosystems are bundling the entire stack so products can ship faster and users don’t drop off on day one. Simpler infrastructure = real adoption.
