Game #1 Completed in 2025: Astro Bot!
I'm currently uploading a blind, no commentary Let's Play covering the game in (almost) it's entirety. The full game should be up by the end of the week.

The game began development on the N64, and was nearly completed, when it was then moved to the GameCube. Despite having critical acclaim, the title sold less than 500,000 copies, shuttering any discussions on a sequel.
Two additional DLC episodes were released over the next year, both of which focused on elements that were vaguely explained in the core game. On September 17, 2024, the game arrived on PC, and then on Xbox Series X|S on June 8, 2025.
3 years ago today, FFXVI released on the PS5! While the franchise has shifted slightly from it's turn-based RPG roots, the 16th main entry has been the most action oriented thus far, with its combat being designed by industry veteran Ryota Suzuki, known best for the DMC franchise
FFXVI was a critical success, and sold >3 million copies within it's first week of sales; however, Square Enix later stated that the game fell below the publisher's expectations.
@RealEmirHan I really expected Vanessa Ferlito to blow up after this, because for me she was such a stand out babe in a movie filled with gorgeous women. I only really remember her appearing in NCIS for a few seasons afterwards though.
@Wario64 Game trailers seem to be carelessly put together these days. You have a first-person view in this trailer, no gameplay in the Ocarina of Time trailer, and still genuine confusion regarding Fable's protagonist because the general public don't understand you can create your own.
Aside from #Gears and #Fable, #Metro2039 may be my most anticipated game from the #Xbox Showcase. Such an underrated game franchise. Magicians also really piqued my interest, as I can never get enough of games that remind me of #Bioshock, #Dishonored, or #DeusEx.
The #Xbox Showcase was fine. Not a lot of surprises, but most all of the games on display looked nice. Quite a few I want to play, if I can be bothered to dust off my Xbox again.
#Spyro is sure to be a hit. I didn't get enough from the teaser trailer though to really get a good feel for it, but it delivers enough excitement in name alone. Strangely, I think I'd prefer they go with shorter, more linear stages like in the originals than large open areas.
