BREAKING: Former Sarawak governor Abdul Taib Mahmud has died at 87 years old.

Taib was the longest-serving head of a state government in Malaysia.

He was Sarawak’s Chief Minister from 1981 to 2014.

Taib also served as Sarawak’s governor from 2014 to 2024.
