@RobDukeOfficial @PlanetMinecraft Interestingly, we have some Datapacks in our collection that have simple "says what it is" names, and some that go for more creative names.
We don't like naming our packs in the style of "BETTER OP ITEMS", and we certainly have hurt our own popularity by avoiding just that.
@RobDukeOfficial @PlanetMinecraft We've tried posting our #Gamemode4 Datapacks on PMC before, and have noticed that simple concepts gain way more traction than complex, deep Datapacks.
It's simply easier for users to find simple packs with known concepts, rather than original concepts.
@PaintCreates @PlanetMinecraft @RobDukeOfficial The new features we got over the years are a double-edged sword, whilst they allowed us to make better packs, it also made it easier to produce simple packs; And end users often jump to the phenomenal and marketable.

[2/2] In modern versions of Minecraft (above 1.9) most RNG elements are controlled by so called LootTables. Starting in 1.13 these can be controlled by Datapacks.
@karljobstgaming [1/2] Minor correction to your latest video: At 34:27 (https://t.co/Yjr9O19sTd) you say "This isn't the luck that can be manipulated".
This is indeed wrong. You can manipulate the chance of a specific items appearing in chests.
