“Ride-A-Long Destination” - After hours at a quiet shopping center, a Blue Line Protective Services patrol officer spots a person lying motionless on the sidewalk in front of a closed business. With no movement and no response, the situation raises immediate concern.
As the officer makes contact, the person acknowledges the officer and claims they’ve been there for about 20 minutes. What begins as a welfare check quickly shifts toward a possible request for medical assistance.
First… asking for a ride to another area. Then… requesting a ride to the station. And finally… asking for a ride to the hospital.
The officer made the call and emergency personnel respond and subsequently transport the individual.

“Annoying & Rude” - In the early morning hours, while most of the apartment community sleeps, a Blue Line Protective Services patrol officer quietly moves through the property — the patrol vehicle creeping through the complex as a spotlight scans parked cars, breezeways, and the dark corners where problems sometimes hide.
During the patrol, the officer notices a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot. From a distance, the officer watches. Moments later, the vehicle suddenly starts moving and repositions to another area of the property.
The officer approaches and makes contact with the driver.
The driver states he had just finished visiting a friend and was sitting in his vehicle working on the interior. But the encounter quickly turns tense when the driver becomes agitated that the officer had been watching him, calling it “annoying” and “rude.” #BlueLineProtective #PatrolService #Security
“After Hours: The Return” - A shopping center dealing with ongoing vehicle camping after hours calls on Blue Line Protective Services to keep the property clear. During a nighttime patrol, an officer discovers a vehicle parked in the lot with someone sleeping inside. The subject explains he is homeless and a senior citizen, but is advised that vehicle camping is not permitted and is formally trespassed from the private property.
Weeks later, the subject returns to the shopping center. Local law enforcement is notified, and the subject is arrested for criminal trespass. Following the arrest, the vehicle is privately impounded and towed from the property as an unauthorized vehicle. #BlueLineProtective #Patrol #SecurityServices
While conducting a patrol of a property, a Blue Line Protective Services patrol officer spots a small makeshift shelter built from tarps and blankets.
The officer checks the shelter and see it appears to have been recently used, but no one is present at the time.
Illegal encampments like this can appear quickly and often go unnoticed unless someone is actively checking the property.
The location is documented and reported to the property owner so arrangements can be made for cleanup. #BlueLineProtective #PatrolService #Security
