@GS05445168 It was becoming clear that central planning had started to misfire, and there was some consensus to move to a market based economy.
Indira came in and went hardcore left (nationalisation spree). Also beaurocracy and judiciary were subverted, and endemic corruption took hold.

The Soviet economy was delivering amazing growth rates till the 60s, and it seemed central planning was the way to go for developing economies.
Where we messed up as a country is the 70s.

1. Vehicles taking a left from middle/right lanes
2. Heavy/slower vehicles not sticking to left lane
3. BMTC buses weaving through traffic
4. Two wheelers playing Tetris and racing games 😆
