Football is built on relationships as much as results. Burning bridges with clubs, agents, players and executives rarely ends well. If you want to lead a club the size of Real Madrid one day, understanding diplomacy is just as important as understanding football.

โผ๏ธ Shaun Wright-Phillips: "I think Xabi Alonso is a fantastic manager. Of course he wasn't given a lot of time at Real Madrid.
But the way it seems to me is that Chelsea are going to give him the run of the club in terms of what transfers are coming in and having a say in it."
I don't disagree with you that the coach is a huge factor.
But even the best coaches need players willing to buy into the system. Mourinho, Guardiola, Klopp, Flickโthey all succeeded because their stars accepted collective responsibility.
A coach can set the structure, but if the dressing room is full of players who think they're bigger than the system, it becomes much harder. The best teams have both: elite talent and total commitment to the collective.๐
@Blue_Footy Exactly. Fans see the announcement and think the deal happened overnight. In reality, the groundwork is often laid months in advanceโscouting, negotiations, contract discussions, agent talks, and financial approvals all take time.
Fingers crossed ๐ค
