If you aren't paying attention to the Board of Education elections, start.
Here is one big reason: Hilario Dominguez.
In an interview with WGN, Dominquez, who has been anointed by the CTU for BOE president, admits he will not consider closing underenrolled or underutilized CPS buildings if elected.
Rather than considering precious school funds wasted, Dominguez brazenly reveals how CTU's priority is preserving jobs at underenrolled schools when mentioning "cafeteria workers, crossing guards, and bus drivers."
This means schools such as Douglass Academy, which was built to accommodate 900 pupils but enrolls 28, would remain open if Dominguez were to be elected BOE president.
Operational spending per student at Douglass is $93,000. Not one single student enrolled at Douglass can read.
Today, 47 CPS schools operate at below a third of capacity.
Tens of millions could be saved if underused schools were consolidated or closed.
Austin Metcalf's dad, Jeff, just unloaded on Karmelo Anthony.
"We were robbed, don't look down, of all of these things."
"I said from day one, this was never about race, please don't politicize it. But what did you choose to do, both. It's about right and wrong. We're all humans. We all bleed the same color.
"You're free to make choices all you want, but you're not free from those consequences. You will face those consequences starting today."
"People think that grief is sadness but its not. IT"S RAGE!!! (slamming his hands on the table.) Pure unfiltered rage,' he shouts.
"You failed your parents, your failed yourself and you failed society, You don't belong in this community," he says to Karmelo.
"You're going to prison, You can't even look me in the eyes right now but you can stab my fu**ing son in the heart."
CHILLS: Were you aware that @actblue is under investigation for what @FTGSolutionsLLC described as HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS in money laundering?
This is the ENTIRE fundraising mechanism of the Democrat party - and he says it's SO BAD that it touches not just federal elections... but everything down to your local town council.
We are talking about the deepest level of corruption our country has ever seen. And yes - it likely touched the @spencerpratt LA mayoral election as well.
Make sure EVERYONE sees this.

You can do everything right—save for years, buy a modest home, and live within your means—only to get hit with a $17,000 property tax increase thanks to JB Pritzker’s policies.
Wow. I just searched the NYTimes app for “beheading.”
Nothing on Belfast.
But I did find an article praising people who beheaded Christopher Columbus statues in 2020.
You can’t make this stuff up.
The Illinois state motor fuel tax on gasoline is currently **48.3 cents per gallon** (through June 30, 2026). It was scheduled to automatically rise to **49.6 cents** on July 1 due to inflation indexing in the 2019 Rebuild Illinois law. Gov. Pritzker’s post refers to pausing/eliminating that specific hike this year.
Federal excise tax adds **18.4 cents**. Your Shell photo (Chicago area) shows ~$5/gal prices—taxes are only part of it; crude oil, refining, distribution, and retailer margins drive most of the cost. Illinois has among the highest combined state + federal gas taxes in the US.

This governor is full of gimmicks and dangerous policies.
Those policies helped put my innocent 20-year-old daughter in the grave at the hands of an intoxicated illegal immigrant who never should have been on Illinois roads in the first place.
Despite a troubling background and serious health issues, he was protected by the very system Gov. Pritzker champions.
Our governor doesn’t give a wit about families like ours.
He turned his back on our family after unimaginable tragedy, and he’ll do the same to yours if God forbid you ever need leadership, accountability, or even basic compassion from Springfield.
@GovPritzker if you ran a competent state, Katie would still be alive and maybe you wouldn’t need constant gimmicks and political theater to distract from the consequences of your failures.
Pass SB4196 and start helping clean up the mess your policies created.
Protected when accountability was needed. Negligent when public safety mattered.
The result wasn’t compassion. It was catastrophe.
@GovPritzker say her name. Katie.
Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen resigned.
She voted to redistrict Utah to add another Democrat seat.
She resigned because she allegedly had an affair with a lawyer working on redistricting.
What a LOWLIFE.
Every day we see layoffs at major American companies. Then we see these same companies hiring people on H-1B visas. There should not be one H-1B visa issued to any company that lays off Americans. Not. One.
Bro @JDVance please come get Pritzker Brandon and Kwame
I can walk the DOJ to all of the Fraud in my case… and many others.
The state of Illinois needs a full federal investigation and indictment
It’s RICO time
Home Depot: The only place where buying a light bulb gets your face scanned like your a suspect and your car's plates tracked like a fugitive.
Facial recognition at checkout.
Flock cameras in the lot = hard pass.
Boycott Home Depot. Vote with your wallet.
Norm Eisen deserves to rot in prison… followed by and even long stint rotting in hell.
The upside, for us at least, is that’s highly likely on both counts.
