Bluegrass Splash Family Aquatic Center will be closed for at least two days due to a broken filtration system pipe in the pool pump house this morning. Public Works staff members were in the pump room backwashing the pool when the line failed. The city has contacted a pool repair

team members were in the pump house when the pipe failed and fortunately were not hurt when this occurred. With the pipes being visible and easily accessible we anticipate a quick repair once the pool specialist company arrives.”

The Health Department officially completed their inspection around 6:30 PM this evening and gave the OK for our Grand Opening tomorrow, May 28th! The gates will open as scheduled at 12:00 PM.
We would like to extend our immense gratitude to everyone who spent the last 24 hours

after the contractors work concluded to make this opening happen! So much hard work was put in by so many wonderful people, and we couldn't have done it without you.

We're having our 4th Annual #poolpawty on September 7th! Doggie Dip is for all dogs, big and small! Pups under 25 lbs will be in the water from 5-6:30 pm. Pups 25 lbs and over can take a dip from 6:430-8 pm. See you at the pawty!
