After Ubisoft cancelled its Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake, GOG has released an enhanced version of the original classic.

The original Sands of Time is now part of GOG’s Preservation Program, with several improvements for modern PCs.

GOG says:

Stop Killing Games is joining a lawsuit against Sony in the Netherlands.

The lawsuit argues that Sony has too much control over digital game sales on PlayStation because the PlayStation Store is the main place where players can buy games digitally.

This lack of competition could allow Sony to keep prices higher than in a more open market.

Stop Killing Games is supporting the lawsuit because it sees it as part of a bigger problem with digital gaming: companies have more control over the games we buy and how long we can access them.
