@ottawaliens I agree. These people seem to no longer have a simple parasocial relationship and have some kind of parasocial dependency. And when they talk about being triggered, what they're actually referring to is parasocial grief being triggered. It's very unhealthy.
@mdhatterjim@b2bsuga You're literally being the poster child for parasocial attachment right now. It's not just a buzzword, it's a real thing that has been heavily studied and you are all being perfect examples of it
@b2bsuga It's situations like this that really show how intense the parasocial attachment is in this fandom. The amount of parasocial breakups happening right now is insane
Knowing the hate and turmoil bts went through, partaking in even a fraction of this to another artist(s) is disgusting. I genuinely dont know what has happened to this fandom
I barely post on here but I just need to say 2 things.
This CB debate is a psychologists dream. The parasocial attachment, purity testing and social identity processing is ridiculous and everyone needs to take a long hard look at themselves...
Secondly, the hate Katseye is receiving is abhorrent. Everyone seems to want to tear these young women apart hoping they will disband and not thinking about other consequences that might arise from this. And to any Army partaking I this you are hypocrites..
@woxiguangzhour1@DBL_fay@kutran@TGTM_Official They apply pressure to the neck which cuts off blood flow to the brain which in turns makes them fall unconscious. Once that happens the body has no self preservation. They die while unconscious
can't believe they've sent namjoon to the US only to confront him with an english interviewer are we all hearing the T-less "better" at the end there my man's auditory processing skills are being put to the test right now
#OpEd: A Korean artist does not have to be limited to using their country’s traditional instruments and speaking in their own language to be a Korean artist. https://t.co/UUGyDihzoe
