We are releasing a new patch today with additional stability fixes that we hope will improve your experience. I saw a report that Microsoft "rushed out" their Xbox Series X|S price increase to take advantage of Apple announcing the same ... this is also false.
It was to coincide with their prev fixed price memory contracts expiring, and has been planned for a while. Just coincidence.
The push back I've seen against PlayStation is unlike anything I've seen before on here.
It's gone so far beyond the gaming community (and obv attracted the attention of social media accounts using it for clicks)
I actually don't think they'll reverse this tbh, because sadly they know that most (not all) won't abandon PlayStation and they'll end up in a NET positive financial position
Take a break from the Xbox / PS6 doom and gloom to watch/read my CONTROL Resonant preview.

I DID NOT expect to come out of SGF with CONTROL Resonant as my most anticipated upcoming game ... I admit this flew well under my radar (unfairly).
New reports say Hideo Kojima’s Xbox horror game ‘OD’ survived Microsoft’s 100‑day reset.
While several projects were reevaluated or cut, ‘OD’ reportedly made it through and remains in active development.
For an experimental cloud‑powered title, that’s a strong signal of confidence from Xbox leadership.

Thoughts after a few hours of playing with Steam Machine.
- 3D performance is just…meh.
- The system recommends to default to 1080p - am I going back to PS4 days?
- Some games take a looooooong time to boot, what is it doing?
- System UI is easy to use.
- Being able to boot up by pressing a button on Steam Controller is a killer feature.
- Changeable face plate is nice.
- Random boot up videos is a nice touch :)
- Sticks on Steam Controller is a bit looser than my taste.
- Having touch pad is nice, but it is very “touchy” and hard to use.
- It allows me to play Steam games on my living room TV, which is a reason enough to keep it.
- But the price was very unfriendly. Hard to recommend to people unless for research.
