She demands to know how Reform would make working people better off.

She would do well to remember leaders at Reform have had exceptional careers in business, most having been successful entrepreneurs.

The most notable thing she did was handle customer complaints at Halifax and then lie about it.

But since Rachel asks: we would halt and unwind the catastrophic policies that are impoverishing the British people.

We would:

1) reverse your tax on jobs that’s killing jobs and wages.

2) Stop your war on landlords which is killing rental supply and driving people’s rents through the roof.

3) End the population explosion and stop the boats to slow the rocketing benefits bill and so young people can afford to rent or buy a home.

4) End and reverse Ed Milliband’s insane net zero folly that is inflicting on British people the highest energy bills in the world and costs the taxpayer £10.7bn pa.

5) Cut the foreign aid budget (£12.3bn pa).

6) Stop forcing British taxpayers to pay for hotels for people who came here illegally (5.4bn pa).

7) Use the savings to reinstate the Winter Fuel Allowance, reverse the tax raid on farmers, and eliminate income tax on earnings below £20k pa. This will help the least well off in Britain get a foothold in the economy and encourage those on benefits who can work, to do so.

8) Immobilise and demolish the bureaucratic state that acts as a parasitic handbrake on the dynamism of British people.

9) Nationalise the utility monopolies that enrich their shareholders and executives while polluting the water and hiking bills on British people.

10) Make Britain the most attractive place to invest in the world and leverage our world leading expertise in AI, biotech and modern manufacturing methods.

You will of course do none of these things.

Reform will, and we will usher in a new golden age for Britain.
