@penguinbydom Also, I’m pretty sure Anthony Raneri ghost writes for some pop stars. Their 2016 record got a lot of hate from long time fans but I think it’s a really well written (poppier) record. I relate less and less to their earlier stuff as I get older tho

@penguinbydom I think their mix of sounds appeals to a lot of people. They’ve got the mall-emo thing going, some metalcoreish vibes, and melodically+lyrically are inspired by the Chicago punk scene (Smoking Popes, Alk Trio, etc). They cover a lot of ground.

I’m also bilingual (not just conversationally) so I figured that would help me immensely but I don’t have like a certificate or anything proving that on paper so I don’t think employers believe that I’m proficient enough in Spanish for professional use
