BAT’s imminent failure in Govt will be predicated on 4 Grounds:

1. His health, Dude is likely to disappear for months on end, while the country debates endlessly about his health.

2. The goons around him, who are currently dividing the nation with propaganda and rhetoric.

3. Political IOUs that will compel him to prioritise political debts before good governance. These political “creditors” will steal the nation blind, and he won’t do much because they know where the bodies are buried.

4. His shady past, which will cast a legitimacy problem in international circles. Several foreign tabloids already describe him as a drug baron.

5. His lack of tolerance for dissent, which will only yield more dissent and less cooperative citizenry.

6. His unscrupulous character which essentially connotes that the ends justifies the means. Expect strategic political assassinations.

7. Governance by propaganda. Different from (2) above, this will seek to deploy smokes and mirrors to obscure non-performance in governance. Expect to see more projects and initiatives in pictures than you actually see on ground. The process will look like the Lagos Blue Line Rail which was commissioned even when it is far from complete.

8. He will be using the template of Lagos, to govern a more heterogeneous Nigeria, which unfortunately he will not be able to pocket.
