It might not be today, or even tomorrow… but i will end you .ᐟ

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

He lets out a self-depreciating laugh that could have been mistaken for a sigh.

“I can’t believe I let myself finally love one person… and it was you of all people.”

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

His face hardens immediately as he pulls his sleeve as low as possible.

“You thought that was agreement .ᐣ if I fought back any harder they would have killed me… but don’t act like you have the right…” he shakes his head wanting to tear out his own curls

Barty had his mark before he had returned to school and maybe it was because he was statistic maybe it was because he had a killers mind set.

he turned and his eyes rolled down Regulus who took the mark unwillingly almost and he sipped his whiskey — searching for reasons to turn

are… but it’s certainly not my Barty.” He whispers his voice crackling with anger and disappointment.

He shakes his head as his wand hand trembles.

“I’m just a mistake to you aren’t I?” He breathes in realization.

“I was something forbidden so it was just fun right?”

|| Corpse & Me:

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

Was regulus the only one that truly fell?

But most of all what ate at regulus was… barty took the dark mark willingly.

That broke him completely.

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

Weeks. Four to be exact that’s how long it had been….

Regulus had found himself sinking deeper into the life his wretched mother wanted for him.

This morning he was drug out of his own cold bed. Taken away from the family home, if you could call that family.

[𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝐶𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑟 @BARTSTABS]

⠀⠀⠀ but that’s the thing about
⠀⠀⠀ whispering goodbyes
⠀⠀⠀ they are only as true
⠀⠀⠀ as the ones whispering
⠀⠀⠀ them ❞

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

He froze with glassy eyes

“No-“ he whispered in disbelief.

The world would have ended if bartys father found out he had a male lover… but he’s gone and become a death eater!? The same men his father put in Azkaban?

It didn’t make sense.

Was he not enough?

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

Regulus’ lips trembled slightly just keeping quiet.

His hands mapping Barty’s tattoos through his shirt from memory.

“I’d rather die he whispers under his breath.

“They can kiss my ass. But for you? I’ll keep quiet for you.”

[𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝐶𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑟 @BARTSTABS]

he sighed onto his shoulder as he closed his eyes. they both knew it but he spoke those words out loud and somehow it twisted his gut still the same.

⠀⠀⠀ “ Shh not now ”

he said into his shoulder praying he’d let him just have tonight and he finally muttered out

⠀⠀⠀

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

“This is the end… isn’t it?”

He murmurs his voice feeling a hundred times smaller and more vulnerable than he’s ever heard himself.

Sounded like a stranger to his own ears.

“I want to be selfish… that’s all my brother ever is… why can’t I just have this one thing?”

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

Regulus lets himself melt further into his lover…

Oh his mother would surely use an unforgivable on him, she’s done so for way less…

Not to mention she’s been hinting at him taking the mark soon for some time now.

Cold pale hands tangle in long brown curls.

[𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝐶𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑟 @BARTSTABS]

he wrapped his arms around Regulus as he hides his face in his shoulder a small muttering out.

⠀⠀⠀ “ We don’t need too
⠀⠀⠀ tonight is just us ”

he wasn’t ready too inform the outside world his father would hang him if he found out or worse finds him someone too marry

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

“Is it bad that I almost don’t care about others anymore?” He whispers against his neck the cold metal of his lip ring brushing against barty’s warm skin.

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

He blinks rapidly when he notices Barty in his bed letting out a soft shriek, thank Merlin the prefect rooms were basically sound proof.

“What are you-“ but he just stops himself short and selfishly lets himself have the moment gently collapsing into the others lap.

[𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝐶𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑟 @BARTSTABS]

he had finally gotten up and put his clothes back on he would make it too the hallway looking back and forth before he probably made the most risky choice

he turned and headed too Regulus dorm room he opened the prefect room and walked too his bed like his body was betraying

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

wee hours of dawn.

When he finally sinks onto his private bed he lets himself show weakness and cry himself to sleep; like a foolish child aching for the one thing he can’t have.

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

His feet, heading towards his common room seemed to betray him.

He found himself instead heading towards instead, shockingly… his own brothers dorm.

If anyone would know what to do about things like this it would sadly be him.

Of course he’d never give specifics, not to

[𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝐶𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑟 @BARTSTABS]

he took the round about way too the common room maybe he needed a cigarette maybe a break maybe he couldn’t see Regulus right now walking inside and seeing him would crush him completely.

he wasn’t ready too see him. he knew it and he knew he loved him but family order and

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

him of all people, that would ruin everything.

On second thought? Terrible idea. He hesitates in front of the gryffindor common room before letting out a groan.

He marches himself back to the library finding solace in the beloved restricted section. Not leaving till the

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

After he can’t hear Barty walking away anymore he finally gathers himself.

Wiping a stray tear from his cheek as he takes the longest route to the common room.

[•—Regulus—• @BLXCKSXY]

By the end, Regulus was curled facing the view of the forest beyond the grounds.

“Wouldn’t dream of it” he whispers almost cracking but he holds it together.

Besides the shaky breath that escapes when he feels the press of lips against skin, there is no signs.

[𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑢𝑠 𝐶𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑜𝑟 @BARTSTABS]

barty had arrived already early like normal but he had stayed out of view and just watched for a moment to long like that man owed him awnsers too the worlds problem.

he finally flicked his cigarette away because lack of a better term Regulus had always made his anxiety high
