Yo @DeadbyDaylight saw this suggestion in a DBD group someone suggested Ernest from Ernest Scared Stupid as a Survivor and i think it was pretty unanimous we’d love that.
@JezCorden Other classics languishing Mechassault, Crimson Skies, and never mind if you go back in the history of Activision. a tomb raider style game for Pitfall, you could do a whole “Atari Recharged” style updates to the most popular Activision Atari era games.
@JezCorden I think best option is to spin those studios off or sell them and work deals for Gamepass or exclusivity. Everyone else needs to get on classic/top IP ASAP, Banjo, Conker, Fallout5, New Vegas 2, ES6, WoW on console/single player RPG in Azeroth spinoff game.
Seeing a ton of rumoring milling on Id being eyed for closure. Now I get prioritizing resources to get a Fallout 5 and ES6 done ASAP getting rid of Doom seems to be cutting of your nose to spite your face.
@xonebros Xbox has been subsidizing art projects for awhile all with long production cycles/large costs with no audience. ROI has not been there on the studios up for closure. The big IPs could’ve helped subsidize them but not with their cost & 10 year+ gaps between games.
@JezCorden Cautiously optimistic. Seems to be streamlining things getting the focus on the tentpoles/getting classic Ip back into play/getting production time/cost down. A lot of the purchases by Phil weren’t exactly Ws with no real ROI as it was still damn near a decade between releases.
@JezCorden Not the form that has every Billionaire growing a big rubbery one. I even hesitate to call this stuff “AI” they’re shitty chat bots that are garbage in garbage out that CEOs think they can replace human workers with.
@JezCorden I think there’s positives and negatives. I think it makes them more nimble without needing MSFT corporate to approve things, but it is iffy territory from a vibes perspective.
@JezCorden The situation is wild for sure. There's a lot of mistakes that lead here, abandoned IP, lost focus, trying to buy their way out of third place. I just hope Asha's on the right path to getting back on track. Doubt we see 360 level glory again, but you never know.
