On the antifragile Charlie Kirk influence: Tonight my 23 yo son came home from a long day of being an electrician apprentice then trade school. Out the door at 5:30 am back home at 8 pm . Showered. Ate dinner. Did push ups. Sat next to me and prayed aloud for Charlie’s family for 10 minutes without prompting. Listened to two worship songs including “Rise up O men of God.” Watched a short talk by Charlie while eating. Hugged me and said “I need to be like Charlie. God help me.” Went to bed. Something is happening with young men. Burn like fire. Pour like rain.
Wow.
LA Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw wrote Genesis 9:12–16 on his Pride hat, reminding everyone that the rainbow is a sign of God’s covenant.

Unbelievable!!
As Kamala is on stage fear mongering about abortion, someone shouts “Jesus is Lord!” To which she replies:

We have an environment where learning and coaching are important and where getting better and developing is important.
You can’t be a good coach if your players don’t let you.” -Joe Mazzulla

Endurance adaptations are slow.
You need a long-term development plan.
So many athletes are caught in the cycle of...
- Take on aggressive short term plan.
- Finish, or more likely abandon, plan & take an excessively long break that erodes any fitness gained.
- Repeat ad infinitum to lower and lower fitness.
Be conservative.
Pick something that you know you can stick with for a very long time.
