Anthony Edwards on Joan Beringer in camp
“Everybody knows his intensity is just like no other. His attention to detail has gotten a lot better, he’s super young, super athletic. We’re trying to keep him from falling on the ground so much because he goes after every shot. Get his fouling down a little bit and he’s going to be really good”
Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch expects Jaden McDaniels to have a bigger offensive role next season:
"We need another step [forward] from Jaden... [LaMelo Ball] is going to create some easier opportunities that maybe didn’t happen organically before... With the pace of play and style of play... we expect some more opportunities to land in Jaden’s lap, and he has proven that he is a play-call guy."

Chris Finch said today that the starters will play in Milwaukee on Monday. He indicated he wants to see them play a fair amount in the preseason so they can get reps tougher and be ready for the season
Anthony Edwards on Ayo Dosumnu becoming a vocal leader
“Ayo, he’s from Chicago, so he brings that, you know, that grittiness that toughness that I love, that we needed for years. It’s a great thing to have him here and I think the main thing about Ayo is he comes to play. That’s what I love about him, it’s not a game… Ayo is like a brother at this point”
Ayo Dosumnu on the culture within the Timberwolves squad:
"We want to spend time with each other. We want to go out to dinner. We want to take trips out of the country. Like we want to be together because that foundation has been set. We actually are invested in each other."
