My deepest condolences to the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, the members of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, and especially the PMOI on the passing of Eng. Houshang Rajavi, a devoted and loyal ally of the Resistance for over five decades.

This is a tragic loss for us all. My heart goes out to his wife, daughter, and brothers—Dr. Saleh and Dr. Ahmad Rajavi—and their families.

Houshang and his parents attended the Shah’s military tribunal in February 1972, witnessing Massoud Rajavi’s defense. It was Houshang who insisted on examining Massoud’s bandaged feet during a court recess, witnessing firsthand the brutal marks of SAVAK torture. He remained a living testament to the atrocities of the Shah’s SAVAK against Massoud.

درگذشت «مهندس هوشنگ» رجوی را که بیش از ۵ دهه یار غمخوار و وفادار مجاهدین بود به رهبر مقاومت و اعضای شورای ملی مقاومت ایران به‌ویژه مجاهدین تسلیت می‌گویم.

این یک ضایعه غم‌انگیز و مشترک برای ماست و آن‌ را از صمیم دل به همسر و دختر و برادرانش دکتر صالح و دکتر احمد رجوی و خانواده‌هایشان تسلیت می‌گویم.

هوشنگ با پدر و مادرش در بهمن ۱۳۵۰ در دادگاه مجاهدین و مسعود در محل «دادرسی ارتش شاهنشاهی» شرکت داشتند و شاهد دفاعیات او بودند.
اولین بار هوشنگ رجوی بود که در تنفس دادگاه با اصرار، پای باندپیچی شده مسعود و آثار شکنجه‌ها را دید. او گواه زنده‌ای از شکنجه‌های ساواک شاه بر روی مسعود بود.

His remains were found on 6 March 2026. Mehdi Ahmadzadeh Razavi and Arezou Soltani—identified by Reuters as Reza Pahlavi supporters—were arrested on 13 March and charged with first-degree murder.
Masjoody had criticised Pahlavi & sued him & the accused. Months before his death, he alleged that the pair sought poison to kill him.
