A written guide helps if you've any doubts about updating your BMPCC 4K to Blackmagic Raw. Check out this one by The Unlocker. During 6.2 update the camera screen and power light will go off, plus progress takes longer past 70%, vs 0 to 70%. Both normal, don't panic, just wait.

The dual ISO capability of BMPCC, or Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (the previous model BMPCC, and smaller cousins are now known as a Blackmagic Compact Cameras). Blackmagic have updated the ISO chart which shows dynamic range at each ISO setting. Q. What is your preferred ISO?

@TheDCTVshow @BPSukltd @Blackmagic_News @BlackMagic_Cine @BMCCusers But if you're talking about the BMPCC 4K then bear in mind it does not crop as much as the BMPCC, so the 20mm lumix is more like a 14 mm would have been on the BMPCC. Whatever you choose you will need a suite of Faders, filters, and mount adapters - so grab these at the same time

The world of vintage lenses can become all consuming and expensive or frustrating! The launch of BMPCC and similar had bargain lenses snapped up quick!

@AndGuz It was just a Lumix 20mm prime without any adapter or speedbooster. I'll check and clean the connectors but this was the first time it has happened including 5 years (almost to the date) of shooting on the BMPCC with the same lens.

Shot a spring sunset with a BMPCC and BMPCC4K on a shoulder rig. Comparison footage soon, but I ended up missing a key shot due to BMPCC4K not responding to manual focus(!) and also suddenly not seeing the USB-C attached SSD. Anyone else experiencing #weirdbehaviour with #BMPCC4K

@rudyvillalona @iamJamesMicheal Sure, but if you replace 'pocket' with "pelican 1150' then you can fit 1 BMPCC4K in there or 2 BMPCC's. Thinking of pocket as a noun then I guess it still works, '...a roomy padded bag or compartment.' Or maybe all BMPCC4K shooters will be sporting cargo pants from now on!

What are your thoughts about the new BMPCC due later this year? The current BMPCC is a great camera and it seems most of its shortcomings have been addressed, and solved, in the new one. Are there any usage lessons we can apply to the new one? Or is it really a pocket mini URSA?
