Since 2010, Solid’Africa has been tackling nutrition insecurity in Rwanda through a comprehensive farm-to-fork model, improving access to quality nutrition for patients, caregivers, and communities.

Early Today, the Vice Mayor in charge of Economic Development, @AimeNiyonsenga chaired a stakeholders’ consultation and public awareness meeting on the riverbank restoration project involving bamboo planting along rivers in the Nyabarongo catchment area.
The project, implemented by Eco Planet Rwanda Ltd through the Rwanda Water Resources Board (RWB), will restore riverbanks through bamboo planting across 81.47 hectares in nine sectors, contributing to environmental protection, job creation, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Gakenke District reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the implementation of this initiative, which aims to promote sustainable natural resource management and strengthen efforts to address climate change.

En visite à #Kigali ce soir, Bill Gates, fondateur et président de la Fondation Gates, a été reçu par le président Paul Kagame. Les deux personnalités ont réaffirmé leur volonté de consolider le partenariat stratégique qui unit la Fondation Gates au #Rwanda. Leurs échanges ont notamment porté sur le renforcement de la coopération dans les secteurs de la santé, de la transformation agricole, de l’intelligence artificielle et des infrastructures publiques numériques, dans le but d’accélérer la mise en œuvre des priorités de développement du Rwanda.
