As you turn to look, the creature is already bounding in your direction. Pestilent boils, jagged horns, and bloodshot eyes cover a massive figure - as tall as two men and wide as an ox.
The beast moves quickly, its long gait catching another victim even without running. This one is wrapped around the waist in tentacles, whisked into the air as if merely a stuffed doll, and driven into cobblestones with a definitive thud.
You come upon a church nestled between overgrown shrubs. It has a rustic charm; the well worn and aged stone clearly hand built, the doors and windows slightly askew in their jambs.
If you could only reach an understanding, perhaps you have more in common than you think. You stand up and take strides toward them and their eyes grow wide. As you get closer you realize they are no longer looking at you, but instead over your shoulder.
You decide to take a walk, maybe try to enjoy the quaint little town when there aren't so many stink eyes fixed upon your back. The villagers you do cross as you set off keep careful watch on you as you walk through the streets.
You've arrived in town only yesterday, taking a reprieve from a weary week of travel. You've never been here before, and it is apparent from the sideways glances and curt attitude of the locals around you that not many outsiders spend time here.
You find yourself restless and in a manner just as uncomfortable as when you were spending your nights in the wilderness.
An evening in the cramped, uninviting tavern has you desperate for a change of scenery.

Teddy, the supposed Terror of Trinton Town doesn’t want to fight anyone, he just wants to help out. He can’t change the fact that he’s kind of a lumbering oaf. And he doesn’t always think about how his actions impact others. But he’s sure gonna try to help where he can.
Teddy was never great in social situations, so he’s still looking for that place. But until then, he’s going to assist any and everyone. In the most incidentally chaotic good way possible.
Finally, Qilinsh. A former member of a now fallen kingdom, he infiltrated the royal guard of their enemies and climbed the ranks.
He finished his mission, unfortunately much too late. Two kingdoms fell that day, and now he roams the countryside, escaping justice.
Four new bounties are available on https://t.co/vAaEtrJmoX for free and for purchase! This month, each bounty plays around with duality in one way or another.

Rafentus Trintillion is a pompous jerk of a spell sword who’s got some natural talent and knows it. He can fluidly move between ballad and spell, and is constantly on the hunt for increasing his power. Whatever the cost to the nearby people.
