Every summer day is a tiny adventure, to take tipsy water taxi rides to Bklyn, to drive to the Cape just to hug someone I love and squeal at seals in the ocean, to dance on the subway on the way to sushi downtown, to say yes, yes, yes. Prayers to the universe for more.
Happy summer solstice, with prayers of gratitude for the sun light, for the basil and red leaf lettuce from our garden, the twinkling lake, and these perfect Ranier cherries. May we all notice the longest day of the year and honor its gifts.
The seasons hold all the lessons, and summer reminds me that abundance is to be noticed, joy is the only thing that can slow down time, summer tomatoes are proof of god, and the earth heals, despite it all.
Surrounded by candles and Moab roses and all of our best friends, we ate our favorite Lebanese food and drank wine in our magical, perfect city, and stayed up too late. All I could ever want now is a million more days as his wife. 🤍
Rose at dawn to the smell of coffee, sat with a friend who is healing because we heal together, danced through the woods, put my l feet in the river, and came home to peonies. Our lives are made up of days on this earth, and the sacred is everywhere we linger. 🌱🤍
