💔 Another day ends, and Buster is still waiting. Buster (#LA6055), a 5-year-old Shepherd mix, has been waiting more than a year for someone to see just how special he is. Rescued from Louisiana in March 2024, he has watched countless dogs find homes while he remains overlooked. The truth is, Buster has so much love to give. He's affectionate, playful, smart, and eager to please. He knows some basic commands, loves spending time with his people, and dreams of a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and know he belongs. This handsome boy would thrive with an experienced adopter and older children who understand his energy and enthusiasm. Beneath his big personality is an even bigger heart that's been waiting far too long for a family of his own. Buster isn't asking for perfection. He's just asking for a chance. Deep thoughts with Lola… Pals! Rescue is in a crises. SOOOO many pups in need. Every day we get DM’s, messages, tags to help pups. The last 2 months we’ve averaged 15 saves per month. That’s a pup saved every other day! Because we help medical pups & seniors, it averages out to $1-$2k + per dog. Mom reads every comment that comes through our donor box & never ever wants anyone to apologize for a donation amount! Mom feels sad when anyone feels bad saying they wish they could help more. Helping at all is so kind, generous & appreciated because we know times are tough & there are so many worthy causes to pick from! THANK YOU for choosing us!!!
