@tryingtorelate2@PamphletsY that's an excellent question and one I am happy to answer! What you are describing is a (common) misunderstanding of Trotsky's theory of Permanent Revolution. It essentially posits that the bourgeoisies of the colonial countries are too weak to lead a bourgeois revolution (1/x)
I'll miss all my comrades on here. It's been nice to be in touch. Going to World Conference showed me how united we truly are, & I have nothing but complete confidence in our party. But I wanna spend all my free time reading theory not talking to dipshits on twitter dot com! xoxo
Yup I'm officially done with app for real this time. I am so tired of unorganized miserable bad-faith liars in my replies, I'm tired of sending people the same articles about sectarianism and permanent revolution, I'm tired of wasting my precious minutes on this hellscape.
@edgyltnwrd I mean, what isn't relevant? The role of the paper as a collective organizer and agitator? The need to centralize their forces rather than having disconnected local groups? The need to build the subjective factor (vanguard party) to win the masses? I think all those still apply.
@edgyltnwrd Yeah I don't disagree with most of this, but I don't understand what's outdated? As long as one understands not to take it too far, and completely negate the role of spontaneity, I don't see any issue with WITBD. The lessons in it are all very relevant today.
@edgyltnwrd (to be clear, I don't think the masses will necessary take power without a vanguard party - I think Cuba is an exceptional example, given the unique historical context (e.g. the USSR existed still and was able to come in and trade w them when the embargoes started))
@edgyltnwrd Okay then it seems we are in agreement? This was his one error. History has shown the masses can achieve revolutionary consciousness, they don't even need a vanguard party to take power (like in Cuba). That said, without a party, the rev will be vulnerable in the long term.
@RedFrontTweeter I have, in my profession, actually helped real people escape from cults and abusive relationships. This is literally what I do for work. This is what I studied in school. But go off I guess.
@RedFrontTweeter You wanna give me hell for using a bourgeois media source to say Mao is a pedophile when you yourself using bourgeois media source against us. I'm not falling for your little goal post moving trick, friend.
Little reminder: the first person to be "accused" of being Trotskyist, is Lenin in april 1917 by Kamenev and Zinoviev, because his april theses defended totally the theory of permanent revolution
@RedFrontTweeter RevComs are definitely a cult and should I bring up the Red Guards? Give it a fucking rest dude I don't go in your comments to do this but you people are always in mine. https://t.co/n870nkMnLt
If you have some of this "evidence" you may go ahead and send it to me
@RedFrontTweeter tired of all our critics being postmodernists (Foucault pedophile defenders) and Maoists (Mao pedophile defenders) and coming after us for SA accusations that we handled perfectly. YOU PEOPLE ARE EXHAUSTINGGGGG
