@Retro_gamer_27 Back when I used to grind GP’s, it was an insane marathon. We would drive like 5 hours from 4a-9a, then marathon a 8-11 round Day 1 and this was a time when things were not streamlined between rounds. I learned quick that packing sandwiches and healthy dense snacks was a must.

@VoxyTwitch I played some other people’s deck and it was a blast. The most fun was Dr. Madison Li. I’ve never played energy before in any format and never had interest in building a deck around it. I ended up going off on turn 6, the owner said “I didn’t know my deck could do that!”

@zdch It’s really bad. Both of my kiddos are addicted to electronic communication. My oldest mostly is on Discord talking to friends and playing games simultaneously. My youngest is attached to social media at the hip, she cannot disconnect like ever.

When the Ghostbusters Secret Lair was announced, I was really hoping for a reprint with a Venkman quote and was let down. Now there is a reprint in a horror themed set and still no Venkman quote or nod to it, I feel let down twice 😔 @GavinVerhey

@SaffronOlive They aren’t really a thing for Magic players, it’s mostly people that have come over from other games where it is a thing, like Pokemon. My LGS has lots hardcore collectors that frequent and none of them care about slabs at all, especially on stuff like this.

@MikeWildspeaker I’m building a 5-color inspired cube, hope to have it playable by MC Chicago 2025. It’s a stip cube so I’m still figuring your the rules, every player will get a copy of Contract From Below for deck construction and games are played for Ante, you can lose deck cards to opponents.

@MikeWildspeaker Just stumbled upon this old Tweet while doing research. I was a hardcore 5-color player for many years. My unsleeved 250 played a full set of power, 40 duals, Library, beta Chaos orb, beta contracts, etc.
It was the best format.
