UPDATE: ICPC takes former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai into custody over the failed N11.1bn Joint Venture Kaduna light rail project
El-Rufai, who was initially arrested by DSS operatives shortly after his release from the EFCC, landed in ICPC custody over a pending trial before the Federal High Court, Kaduna Division, regarding the failed N11.1bn Joint Venture Kaduna light rail project.
According to the ICPC, the money was collected by a JV partner during El-Rufai’s administration, but the project wasn't executed, while also adding that part of the money (N1.373 billion) was diverted into a private account during the administration of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
The anti-graft commission said that between December 2016 and January 2017, the then-governor approved the payment of N11.1 billion to the entity, which was not formally incorporated by the CAC until 10 May 2017. From the N11.1 billion paid to Mrts JV Nigeria’s account domiciled with Sterling Bank, N1.373 billion was allegedly diverted into a private account tracked down by ICPC.
Following an application by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) last year, the Federal High Court, Kaduna Division, had temporarily ordered the forfeiture of N1,373,180,510.07, which was part of the cash for the failed Kaduna light rail project.

RESIGNATION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY (NNPP)
I wish to formally announce my resignation from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) with immediate effect.
I seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude for the honour and privilege of serving as the Party’s National Leader and its Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections. As a committed and bonafide member of the party, this was not an easy decision to make.
However, considering the current trajectory of the nation’s political landscape, which calls for strategic realignment, I have found it necessary to identify with another political platform that offers the best opportunity to effectively change the nation.
I extend my deepest appreciation to the National Chairman, Ajuji Ahmed and the entire National Working Committee for their steadfast support throughout my time. I also thank the Board of Trustees, the National Executive Committee, and all levels of leadership across the party — from the ward to the state level, as well as the legacy members of the party and all followers of the Kwankwasiyya Movement for their dedication and commitment to our shared mission.
We shall continue to collaborate and work together towards charting a better and more prosperous future for our dear nation.
Signed,
Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE
Former Kano State Governor,
2023 Presidential Candidate,
New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)
Imagine paying hard earned money for daycare to look after your child.
As you're guzzling through Lagos traffic, one bastard is fondling your son & using him for her perverted sexual desires.
For years, you didn't know your son was Simi-ed.
That should scare you.

Did you see Alex Otti buying campaign buses, or sharing Rice, & 5k? 🤷♂️

🚨 PREDATOR ALERT ⚠️
If you're coming to the UK as an Immigrant, be careful of this fellow @Oluomoofderby
He's been accused to run CoS scams running into thousands of pounds.
His target are vulnerable desperate immigrants.
The community he created has publicly disowned him.
Be careful.
He hides under the mirage of "good governance", support for Peter Obi to constantly whitewash his image.
He latches onto seemingly credible public figures, and nurture a "friendship" - all to reinforce his public cred.
Be careful of Ole omo of Derby.
Tacha said she’ll arrest Vamps and lock her for 3days.
I don’t know the kind of power she thinks she has here, but the audacity to think you can just arrest anybody is funny to me.
There’s a reason why most celebrities are not active here, because nobody send them.
Ask Simi she’ll explain to you.
Yesterday, Saturday 28th March, I travelled to Aba, Abia State to honour the invitation of the representative of the people Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and to meet stakeholders of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC).
I thank Senator Abaribe and his team for the warm reception and I thank Governor Alex Otti for the good work he has done in Enyimba City.
I had a one-hour interview with Magic fm which is my first interview on the radio and TV this year. I thank the stakeholders of ADC for their warm welcome and the good interaction we had.
When I speak about moving the country from consumption to production Aba remains one of the cities that will contribute immensely to that as it remains a home for garment and shoe production. Both products, garments and shoe remains top and earn as much as we earn from oil for Bangladesh and Vietnam respectively and can do so for Nigeria if well managed and supported.
Our challenge remains Competent leadership with capacity, compassion, and commitment to the development of our country as it is in other comparable nations.
A New Nigeria Is POssible. -PO

Sorry, just seeing your quote.
I’ve attached the photo you quoted, it’s too blurry for my liking, I added extra for you😭
You see, when I was working in one of the biggest banks in Nigeria as an I.T professional, you were still drawing Davido on your breast, twerking on Instagram for likes, and selling your body like bole & fish all over Port Harcourt.
You even went through my posts to comeback with my football?😂
At every point in time, I’ve always had multiple options, unlike you who has one, OLOSHO😂
I’m a Chartered Banker, a certified and experienced Project Manager, a Certified BA-Professional, a Senior Applications Analyst, BSc., MSc., just to mention a few.
In every area of life, I’m not your mate, except in knacking for money😂😂😂
By the way, that picture was taken in Barcelona. I can go anywhere in the world, with my money. No Big Brother or drawing Davido on my breast, or twerking on IG.

I HOPE AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE LEARNING FROM ALL OF THIS.
Other countries complain that their hills and mountains are liabilities.
But Iran has managed to turn them into weapon cities.
Do you think if their weapons and factories were in the open like many other countries, they would still be throwing missiles?
The US and Israel would likely have crippled them already with all the bombs thrown so far.
But Iran is still heavy on missiles and is ready to go as far as anyone wants.
Why?
Because they turned hills and mountains into fortresses where they've kept planes, warships, missiles, missile systems, and factories protected.
Today leaders threaten them to accept defeat — but their underground strength keeps them standing.
These are lessons for African countries.
What are we doing with all the water resources across Africa?
Some regions of the Middle East refine salty water just to survive.
But Africa has vast fresh water sources.
What are we doing with the oil, rare earth minerals, gold, and natural resources across the continent?
Instead of using them to develop our nations, only a few benefit while many countries remain underdeveloped.
This war is revealing lessons that should make African leaders and citizens think deeply.
Iran has been under sanctions for decades, yet look at what they built under pressure.
China faced sanctions, tariffs, and blockades for years — yet still developed strong industries.
Many African countries have had independence for decades.
What have we achieved with that freedom?
Whether we accept it or not, foreign interests often target African resources.
Because of the wealth beneath African soil that is still underused.
Africa is blessed with enormous potential.
The real question is:
Are we using what we have to build strength, security, and prosperity — or wasting opportunities that future generations will need?
