The hostility against him was too much yesterday. The environment isn't going to be favourable for Enzo moving forward. Best he gets a transfer to city.

All this talk of lack of control because Enzo didn't start is not true. When he came on, it was the same story.

I said earlier that the way we shape and play, Enzo won't be crucial because I don't think Alonso wants us to keep a lot of possession and circulate the ball. It's about finding the front three as soon as possible and being ready to defend transitions.

That explains why we want Alex Scott by all means. A typical Alonso team wouldn't pair Caicedo and Scott; he'd rather use Caicedo and Enzo, but it looks like he's adapting to the Premier League. It looks like Alonso believes that intensity is more important than possession in the Premier League. On a norm, Fulham won't have more possession than us, but we just didn't pass around at the back for no reason.

So, don't expect us to control a lot of games with possession. Rather, we will control it with our intensity and counter-press. Of course, he can adapt game by game but we will mostly be transitional.

It's early days, but the sign is pretty obvious.

Chukwueze had a really nice game yesterday.

Sent on loan last season, and came back to being one of the players to watch under Ruben Amorim.

Sometimes, players just need the best structure to perform. I know he's a natural winger, but he's immense stamina to cover the flank.
