Former Indian Test cricketer from Hyderabad. Conferred with Member of the British Empire (MBE).
Friends know me as Bobjee.

[The Falling Sweep @thefallingsweep]

He was headed to an under-17 trial on a bicycle when casually a selector hopped onto the bicycle and rode pillion to the ground . That was ML Jaisimha.

Wonderful to reunite with Australian cricket legend Steve Waugh at the ETPL Finals in Dublin, 25+ years after our paths first crossed. We reminisced about his time playing for Ireland. Even more special with Rahul Dravid there too. A memorable day! 🏏🇮🇪🇦🇺🇮🇳

I am deeply honoured to receive FICI’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by H.E. Mr Manish Gupta, Ambassador of India to Ireland, at the India Day Festival in Dublin on Aug 16th. Grateful to FICI and the Indian community for this recognition. #FICI #IndiaIreland

@Bobjee169 Congratulations Bobby. 👏👏

What an incredible run. With Gopichand as coach, his daughter Gayatri and Tressa Jolly caused another big upset. Gopichand as a coach has never returned empty-handed. This time his daughter and Jolly have assured themselves of a medal in Worlds. That is Gopichand. Take a bow

Bobjee,
I remember you as a budding cricketer, bowling legspin and batting equally well in the Hyderabad league. Your brother (Ranganath Rao, Major for most of us friends of his) was one of your greatest supporters and he honestly believed you were destined to go places. 1/6
